CLAY: The program after

That's me on vocals/guitars. I dont have any other pics as yet cos these were taken by my suitemate - Papz! Thnx Pappu!
The whole band, CLAY - Lyndelle on keys, Kai on drums, Ivan on bass and me on vox/guitars. We seriously have the best musicians on campus! (okay... some might disagree... but I believe we do - plus chemistry!)
Thats me again - doing my solo piece on my acoustic. Lyndelle was on keys and the percussion... 2 in 1! Great job bro!!!

Well, i must say that i really did enjoy the whole talent night! It was amazing - to be able to express myself musically the way i wanted to, without inhibitions! To get the music loud and really just have fun!

The flipside of the coin is that i was quite dissed at the way the judging or rather, the judges judged. Some of the pieces that deserved at least a 1st or 2nd placing didnt even appear on the radar! Not even on the consolation! *baffled* it seemed that the simpler the song, the softer it was and the more 'lovey-dovey' it was, the higher the scores... interesting how judging is nowadays~

The PA Crew (okay, maybe just one person.... we all know who that is) did a terrible job on the EQ'ing and also the mixing. Instruments too loud and vocals inaudible! Incredible - the winning group's item was inaudible, out of tune and out of time. Okay, enough ranting!!

I did enjoy myself and I saw a whole variety of performances, some of which knocked my socks off!!! U guys from MC who were there... do leave some comments yeah? Anyways, to my band members, you guys totally rocked today and though we only got a consolation prize from the judges, you know you're worth more than that - just recall the screams midway through the song and u know the crowd loved us!!
